SPACES
66 Porchester Road was originally a printing and ticket depot for Great Western Railway, sandwiched between Royal Oak and Paddington, we wanted to give a nod to the sites’ rich locomotive history within the interiors of the building. GWR were noted for being an enthusiastic namer of its’ trains throughout its long existence. The general motive for naming locomotives sprang from a natural desire of the makers to give their products individuality – and this felt right for our studios also! Hence each of our studios has been named after a former GWR locomotive or engine.
